Sentinel® 5500

Designed for odor control and sanitizing

Simple, low-cost installation.

It only takes three steps: Attach the weatherproof enclosure to a wall, ceiling or post. Connect the liquid feed line (low pressure, 3/16" ID tubing). Plug into an electrical outlet. Your power head is ready to operate.

No control wiring is needed. The power head activates when it senses liquid feed. And since the liquid supply operates at low pressure (10-60 psi), there is no investment in piping. If your needs change, relocate heads, or add more. Just connect to the liquid supply and plug in.

There are many ways to control system operation -- a manual valve on the liquid supply line, a repeat cycle timer, an odor monitor, weather station or any other device able to trigger a relay. Liquid can be supplied by a small transfer pump or from the house water supply through a check valve and solenoid valve.

And with an optional proportional injector, you can mix in your chemical concentrate in line, on the fly. Injectors require no power, are available for a range of dilutions, and are highly reliable. Better than tank mixing.

Because power heads respond to liquid feed pressure, you can control individual units with simple toggle valves in their feed lines. And it's easy to construct more elaborate control systems with timers, solenoid valves or condition sensors.

For more information on setting up a Sentinel II system, please see our Technical Design Notes page or contact the factory.

The parts and accessories page has information about some ot the liquid transfer and timing components that can be used with Sentinel II power heads.
